Albania is one of the first countries in Europe to transpose Law No. 25/2024 “On Cyber Security” as a commitment for membership in the European Union.
The new law was introduced and approved as a government commitment for Albania to be a leader in cyber security, prepared to respond to ongoing attacks.
This law is comprehensive in completing the entire legal framework in preparing critical and important information infrastructures to cope with ongoing cyber attacks and situations. In addition, it provides for procedures for reporting and handling cyber security incidents in an appropriate and coordinated manner.
